Yards and Lower Level Game Room

The game room features a wetbar with Mexican tile backspash and cherry cabinetry built in 2003. A regulation nine foot snooker table has resided in this house since 1968. It was recovered in 2004 in traditional green felt. The western theme light fixtures (circa 1950's) above the it were rescued from the Lake Quivira clubhouse rennovation in 2002.

Surrounded by trees screening the neighboring houses, the back and side yards consist of woodland gardens of flowering perrenials, ground covers, and sedums, with meandering colored pea gravel paths and a fire pit leading to the flagstone patio and the walk-out lower level.

The game room on the lower level of the house can be entered from the flagstone patio situated under the screen porch, or the entry hall stairs.

The north side of game room leading to the laundry and home office is also used for hobbies and crafts. Alternatively, this area could house a home office, using what is now a office as a child's bedroom or media room.
